ABOUT AWAKELIFE
What is Awakelife?
Awakelife is a space where people come to experience something real.
Something brought you here.
Most people are not searching for truth…
they are searching for something that confirms what they already believe.
AWAKELIFE
Not something to believe.
Something to experience.

Most people are trying to fix themselves.
But what if the problem
is not you…
but what you believe about yourself?
Awakelife began after Yogi Gerhard’s own experience,
and a clear sense that this wasn’t something to keep to himself,
but something others should be able to explore for themselves.
You don’t need to find truth.
You need to wake up from what isn’t true.
YOGI GERHARD

Global Audience
His program on the international TV station Spirit Word reached a global audience.
During that time, deeper questions began to surface,
questions that could not always be answered through belief alone.

Years as a Pastor
Gerhard Breedt, known as Yogi Gerhard, is the founder of Awakelife.
His background is not traditional in the yoga world.
He spent many years as a Pastor,
teaching and guiding within a structured religious setting,
and traveling internationally with healing and prophetic services and crusades.

Awake Life
Today, his role remains simple.
He facilitates Satsang, meditation, and breathwork,
creating a space where people can explore their own experience directly.
The focus is on giving people the opportunity
to see and understand things for themselves.

Turning Point
A major turning point came during a serious health crisis,
when a ruptured appendix, left untreated for several days,
pushed his body to its limit.
In that state, something unexpected happened.
There was a clear sense of losing control,
yet at the same time, a deep calm.
Not a feeling of dying,
but something he later described as “waking up.”
A dissolving of fear and punishment,
and a quiet sense of dissolving into something larger,
often described as the Divine.
It was not dramatic in the way the mind expects,
but it was undeniable.
That experience marked a shift in how life was seen and lived.
Over time, this naturally led to sharing these practices with others.
